O.P. Fadeeva started work in the department of social problems of IEIE in 1987 after graduating from the economic faculty of NSU (specialty of economic cybernetics). She is the author of ove r 120 scientific publications including 10 collective and individual monographs. Olga took an active part and organized sociologic field trips aimed at comprehensive study of transformation of Russian rural communities. The geography of research embraces Altai, Perm, Baikal, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Tomsk, Tyumen, Belgorod, Saratov, Penza regions as well as republics of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan.

Scientific interests	Social problems of reforming the Russian rural sector, transformation of rural economic modes, specific features of rural labor market and employment, land relations, development of rural entrepreneurship and institutes of local government and self-organization
