The Agreement on Scientific Cooperation between the IEIE SB RAS and the Institute of the Regional Studies of the HAS has been signed

In the period of February 29-March 5, 2016 the delegation of the Institute of Economics and Industrial Engineering, headed by the director of the Institute, academician Valery Kuleshov, visited Hungary. During the visit, the main accent has been made on the joint work with the Institute of the Regional Studies of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, longstanding partner of the Institute of Economics and Industrial Engineering. During the visit, the agreement on scientific cooperation between two institutes has been signed. Also, the joint seminar has been hold, and the main directions of the perspective scientific interactions have been discussed.

The goal of the signed Agreement refers to widening the cooperation and strengthening the manifold ties in the sphere of economic and social research, regional and municipal management, innovative activity, and also support in practical realization of scientific works in the fields of joint interest. The main tasks of the Agreement refer to creating favorable conditions for exchange of new ideas and information, for organizing joint scientific research on mutually beneficial conditions in the framework of the adjusted directions and programs. Within this cooperation, special attention will be given to the scientific cooperation of young scientists and specialists.

The director of the Institute of Economics and Industrial Engineering of the SB RAS academician Valery Kuleshov and the director of the Institute of the Regional Studies of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences academician I.Palne-Kovac are signing the Agreement.
